Native Sun is owned and operated by Captain Russell Holliday and his wife,
Debra, both native Floridians. Capt. Russell grew up in and around the waterways of South Florida and spent many days as a child launching a boat from his grandmother's home on Sugarloaf Key. Debra is originally from Pinellas County and grew up on one of that county's last working farms.

After a time living in North Carolina,
Capt. Russell yearned to return to
Florida and settled in Citrus County. He has spent several years and many hours learning and enjoying the local waterways.

Capt. Russell is a Coast Guard Certified Master Captain with experience operating airboats, large touring vessels, as well as experience with sea towing.
